• Does it always make sense to outsource manufacturing to China?

In today’s challenging times, sourcing and manufacturing in China can offer significant production costs savings. But it’s not a scenario that’s right for every organization. One of the best things that J.A.M. brings to the table is the honest ability to assess whether China manufacturing makes sense…or not.

If your products cannot be easily sourced or if it doesn’t improve your profitability, we’ll let you know so you can choose another option. If it is the right choice, J.A.M can bring a lot to the table.

By working with us, your company can eliminate the need to hire and attempt to remotely manage overseas employees or relocate current employees overseas. We’re here to help you navigate everything from market entry and sourcing to supplier management.

  • In today’s business environment, speed is of the essence. How fast do your respond?

We fully understand your need your need to move quickly to gain the competitive advantage. Once we ascertain that we have sufficient information for a response, we move quickly and expediently.  In the event that there is a delay beyond our control, we make sure you remain fully in the loop with our expert one-on-one communications.

  • We have our own sourcing department. Why work with you?

We make your sourcing more efficient and help ensure product quality is up to your standards before any item is shipped. Your own professionals can focus on their core competencies while we serve as your eyes and ears in China, making sure processes run smoothly.

  • Where are your factory locations in China?

Our bi-lingual factory is located at Wujing, and we maintain two sourcing offices in Ningbo and Shenzhen.

  • What if your factories don’t fit our needs?

Our network of factories in several provinces meets the most rigid requirements for the vast majority of customers. But if none of them meet your unique needs, we will locate and prequalify others. And, if the owners aren’t fluent in English, our bilingual staff serves as interpreters and translators to ensure all parties understand the final agreement.

  • How do you protect proprietary products so our ideas won’t be copied?

Because everything we manufacture is proprietary, we only show photos that represent the types of products we produce for our customers. You will not find us at trade shows as a result. We work best with proprietary consumer products shipped in one-container minimums.

  • Can I easily reach someone who speaks English if I have a question or concern?

When you contact J.A.M. at (phone number), a real person will answer during U.S. business hours – no voice mazes, answering services, or dealing with time zones.  Your inquiry will be addressed within 24-48 hours from a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous representative.

  • Are the Chinese employees treated ethnically and fairly?

Absolutely.  Our employees are each paid a fair wage for the type of work they perform, and we provide each of them with legally mandated benefits.  We believe strongly in a safe and healthy work environment, and as a result, regularly conduct assessments of equipment guarding, personal protective equipment, and more.  As a result, our turnover rate is one of the lowest in the manufacturing industry.

  • My product is new and I don’t want it to be compromised. What assurances can I get that your employees won’t share our information with others?

We will gladly sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements with our clients on patented or proprietary products.  Unlike some other factories, our reputable vendors have been with us for years; they know they stand to lose substantial business if they violate one of our customer’s confidentiality agreements.  We have never had a confidentiality issue in all our years of business.

  • If I wish to visit your factory, could you help me arrange a tour?

We welcome prospective and current customers to tour our facility, see our processes and meet our people. Please let us know if you wish to visit and we will make every effort to assist you. For your convenience, here is some background information to help you arrange your trip.
